I activated my phone the 1st of the month. Options?
Ha. Isnt that hilarious?
Dear Mr. XXX,
Thank you contacting Sprint. I understand that you are not satisfied
with your current HTC mogul handset.
After reading your email, I can certainly understand how frustrated you
must be with the phone at this point of time.
You have activated the replaced handset as on October 01,2008 therefore
your current handset is within the Sprint 30-Day Risk-Free Guarantee
that allows you to replace your handset with any other new handset of
same model or different model.
I appreciate that you are interested in HTC Touch Pro however currently
it is not available. It will launch on October 19,2008 (expected date).
Currently I will not be able to inform you the retail cost of HTC Touch
Pro if the cost of the new handset will be more than the current one,
the account will be charged for the difference of the costs of the two
handsets.
I will order the new handset and a return kit for you. Once you receive
the return kit, simply send the current handset in the return kit to the
address mention on the kit.
At the time of order of the new handset, the total charge of the new
handset will be billed to the account. Be assured this charge will be
automatically credited back as soon the returned handset is received
back. I have also put a detailed note on the account about the credit to
be applied immediately. In case, the new handset has a cost higher than
the current one, the extra amount will not be credited. It will remain
on the account.
Please reply back to us after the launch of HTC Touch Pro I will place
an order of HTC Touch Pro and return kit for you.
If there is anything else, I can do to make things easier for you,
please feel free to let me know.
Sincerely,
XXXX

What should I do? should I just get a different phone and exchange it after the fact? I'm thinking I should get the Treo 800W and then exchange it. Or, should I just ask for an extension??? I was in the process of asking for an extension, but I thought I'd ask people here first. Maybe somebody has some experience.
