especially with this phat Touch Pro money burning a hole in my pocket.

I have this and the Mogul. The 800W isn't a bad phone and the screen's nice. If GPS is important to you, you might want to know that it can't do standalone GPS so you have to have a signal to a cell tower whereas phones like the Mogul can operate on standlone mode.

Usually you get better results from the chipsets that do A-GPS like the 800W.

I know the GPS on my M1 was far superior to my Touch.

Not sure how true this is. While in Europe my Mogul did not have a CDMA signal and could not lock on to GPS either.

I've been able to lock on when i turn the radio off as well as when i have no signal while going RVing with the Mogul

How do you get a preorder Ive tryed with no luck...they basicly keep saying that you cant preorder...Its avalible to every one when its released.

You can only preorder through EVP, http://www.evpdiscount.com/ , And even that's only if your company has a business agreement with Sprint. The rest of us has to wait till Nov

I know that some may be pissed off but am I the only one who thinks that this was made up from the beginning?

As for motive, I have no answer but from the first post I was skeptical. I was thinking of what excuse will be used to get out of this one.

The private number thing got to me also. I've received lots of calls from sprint and all had return numbers. Usually their 800 number.
