Touch pro on EVP - Page 9

I just ordered up my touch pro through the EVP program. They said the phone would be released on sunday november 2 of this year and I should have it next day aired on monday. I will receive a tracking number when it's available. I could of sworn it was supposed to be out by the 19th of this month, but looks like all the hoopla is all about the G1.

That's where I think sprint messed up cause the G1 ppl who pre ordered will have there's oct 22nd that's with next day shipping. They sold out of the 1st wave of G1 pre orders they had 2 triple the 2nd wave!!! WTF. Sprint had the jump but dropped the ball in my Opinion but o well nov 4th all the pre orderee will have there touch pro

I'm a little slow and confused, sorry in advance. Evp does'nt really give you a discount simply a means of ordering the phone before anyone else, correct? I have an Albertsons EVP and a Countrywide both with differant pecentages but the phone costs the same through both???

That's true, but from what the EVP rep told me, telesales will have it on the day that EVP will have it available, so really, there will be no difference unless they run out of the phone and the EVP pre orders are filled first. So MAYBE a place in line in front of telesales.

That's an interesting note about the G1. I wonder if that is what caused the delay. What if Sprint doesn't even have the Pro's yet and HTC had to tell them to wait as they have to clear the G1's first. It's an interesting thought taking into account they were supposed to launch so close together. Hmmmm....

That's what I was wondering to! Cause sometime last week after wed. If you pre ordered an G1 u will get it in nov! They had so many pre orders on the G1! I have a friend in nyc leaving his curve for an G1 and I was explaining it to him kinda and he really excited about it. And I told him which phone I'm getting with sprint and bragging I'll have my phone a day before he gets his! Well jokes on me

it will be 2 weeks after

NOPE Talked to someone evp is special pricing, all phones arent always early

i was told that oct 19th, through telesales maybe nov 2 for evp,. evp is NOT sprint. its another wireless business. everyone i speak too at sprint tells me 19th for telesales
