After looking some of the other footage (0:19) and the CNET video (:17/1:0, you can see the same pattern surrounding the D-pad. We're in luck!

Yeah, the cNet Video actually shows it much clearer because the backlight is lighting up the icons at the same time and turns them off at the same time that the phone is being opened up to the QWERTY keyboard.

When I watched the youtube video, at first I kept saying to myself "looks like a reflection."
