SOLVED:Light Ring on Pro?
 

I was watching the CNET and laptopmag videos of Sprint's Pro and I did not see the light ring around the D-pad light up when they touched it. Does anyone know if the feature was removed from the CDMA version?

If so, that's depressing :cry:

The Sprint Touch Pro WILL have the light ring just like the Diamond!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally think it adds a nice touch [pun not intended] for when you recieve calls. It also just looks freekin' sweet!

Not a big deal for most just something that ppl liked. It was a cool factor type of thing. I'm sure that's not a deal breaker. But I'm sure the reason ppl like it or want it cause from a far if you had a missed call or msg you would see that light up way before a small orange blinking light *shrugs* I guess what do I know :-|

If I am not mistaken I thought I saw it on one of the sprint diamond video preview on youtube somewhere, if its on that then it has to be on the pro, hopefully.

I did see it on the diamond... I just hope they didn't have the urge to change it on the Pro.

i would love this. had a nextell that the antena lit when you got a call. antena, thats a while ago. lol

You're right! Although I must admit, from that one video, unless I knew what I was looking for, I would've dismissed that as some reflection from the lights in the room. After looking some of the other footage (0:19) and the CNET video (:17/1:08), you can see the same pattern surrounding the D-pad. We're in luck!
