that will make a big difference to me with this next set.
also all the spec's I've seen show different Qualcomm chipsets. and I know we won't see the FCC docs til december, so any brave telus users out there want void a warranty for pictures? might be worth waiting til a touchPro comes out.
the 6900 has gps... is that possible without gps antenna... i think now, but maybe i'm wrong.

Re: To Victor or to Herman...

so the burgundy back is true according to another poster in another thread with a reliable source... but its said that the back is DARK DARK burgandy and looks good. apparently, there might be a couple colors added in the box as options... POSSIBLY, but i doubt it.

the thought is it's shared with bt or cdma antenna, but I've not looked into it much (I'm a mogul owner), there also is some debate on the standalone performace 6800 vs 6900. and there's a 6800 user that's rigged up a external wire to help the existing antenna.

The Raphael has video, camera, removable battery, copy/cut/paste, keyboard and no IR... not sure if you were just saying that the IR was a letdown on the raphael.

Even with WinMo 5 I've been able to do copy/paste with the onscreen keyboard using ctrl+c and ctrl+v or the tap and hold menu after highlighting something of course.

Yes, just refering to IR on the Pro. I have a Mogul, and am a power-business user

Ah m'kay. That's what I thought, but wasn't sure and thought it might confuse someone else.

With bluetooth and more importantly the wi-fi...I can definitely live without the IR function. My 700wx has IR and I've only used it once or twice and I use my phone for my own small business and my day job too. Haven't found much of a need for it.

When I want to transfer files I usually just hook up the cable or remove the SD card and copy direclty off of it....or push via bluetooth or attach to email and send that way... email is the one I use the most often because a lot of times I'm at work wanting to send a file home or on the road and wanting to send a file to work or home.

the chip yes, but not the PCB layout. at lease based on all the picts I've seen, but I've only seen the official FCC pics of 6800, and random pics of 6900.

Re: To Victor or to Herman...

Is there a way to upgrade the radio in the Diamond without the microsd slot? Last I remember I had to boot an image file from the microsd to upgrade my mogul radio
