Clearly no one would leave Sprint over a 2-week delay. Especially since it hasn't been widely-advertised that it was even going to be released on the 19th. Only us select few on these forums probably even KNOW about the phone's existance.

Are you sure on this? When I couldn't get my replacement Mogul, the guy on retentions actually said I could do that, and the only reason he wasn't advising me to do so was because there was no solid release date for the Pro. I didn't do it, but nonetheless a Sprint rep explained how to do it to me.

no, nothing is sure just makes sense from a business perspective. if the people are trying to use a loophole they don't want being used, then once the mass majority of those that is going to use it has, delay the release a bit and they are stuck on a less expensive phone or outright buying it.

Hi,
I just have a quick question and maybe someone can help me with the answer. The rebate for the Sprint Touch Pro expires Nov. 1st, so when they release it Nov. 2nd will it not be $299? I've emailed sprint but have yet to receive a response.

Usually those things have an expiration date just to have one. There will be one afterwards with a new expiration date.

Don't quote me on this becasue I am just speculating. BUT if that is the case, chances are, based on past expierence, a new one will come out to off set the delay. OR they will extend it for new purchases of the TP.

I just spoke with some people and i heard its Nov. 1st....I also tryed to get one secured like a preorder and was told there isnt such a thing at all.

im sorry someone clear this up for me, the TP will be available on the 2nd but i heard it will be in the sprint stores earlier

Quite the opposite. Best Buy will get it early, TeleSales will have it on the 2nd, and the stores MAY have it that early, but probably later.

hey dude, so what does that mean for me? I am a premier customer. I have five lines total. One line is out of contract and the other 4 will all be out of contract by 12/6/08.

1) Do I get better benefits (discount) if I wait until all lines are out of contract? If not,
2) For one of my lines I want to get the HTC Touch Pro, which comes out on 11/2. so should I wait until 11/2 to extend all my lines, or will I get the same discount if I upgrade 4 now and 1 later. Does it not make a difference if I upgrade one line or all lines?

I'm under the impression that its better to upgrade all lines at once and also its better to upgrade when you're out of contract.

I'm hoping they can give me a good deal on the phones I want. I want two diamonds, one touch pro, and 1 800w treo, and 1 hightone....

any help would be appreciate...i really want that htc touch pro..
