What kills me about these threads is that Sprint has officially stated it would be out on 10-19 several times. If there was a problem that required them to push that date back, I'm pretty sure they would have said by now. Of course people make bad business decisions all the time, but with the profile of this release it seems highly unlikely.

I'm guessing he was referring to the stores having them. Not a single store, that I've heard of, actually has them. Everyone got them on Telesales. Everyone was COMPLETELY SURE that the stores would have them by now.

In this very same press release, dated 9/10 they didn't even give a date for the diamond, they said it would be released in september.....

I completely agree. They have listed a date and told almost all the reviewers that same date for release. I can not see them delaying now, especially with them trying to "rebuild" their image right now.

True, but it was not released on 8/28 as it was originally promised. It was delayed. Did I mention that we were not notified about the delay...

As I remember though (and understand I have no standing on the Pro release date at all), Sprint also never released a press release acknowledging the release date of the diamond. Mostly speculation or "I heard froms."

where did sprint offically state this? to the public? hmmmm. i must have missed this one. i did see a few internal docs, but those are not offical and are always subjest to change.

From what I can remember there were posts on here giving 9/14 as the date for the Diamond and those turned out to be true. I myself have faith in 10/19 and that's what I'm going by. Until I see paperwork from Sprint stating the release date has been pushed back, I will still going by 10/19.

Not sure if you said it already, but didn't see if you had mentioned exactly why it's delayed until 12/2 and not even November?
