Sorry guys... I found out this morning that the Touch Pro has a tentitive launch date of 11-2 with a best buy date of 10-28??? I think that was supposed to be 11-28...

If you guys with Moguls know my posts I dont post false info. Check my Post history.

Sorry I too am waiting for this device and kinda bummed about the news.

well ecare just emailed me earlier an told me its scheduled for 10-19.

yea i herd 11-2 from my sprint rep also. oh well no worries for me. i get to use a rant for free. by the time that is over ill have enough to come up with a touch pro.

11/2 may be the store release date.

I've been told by several eCare reps and Telesales agents that 10/19 is the date I can order through Telesales.

Doesnt matter what you were told.. but dont be upset when its not available on the 19th. I was told the 19th as well yesterday hence the email to my contact right afterwards late last night. You have to remember its the lab and the Developers that make the final decision on the launch date. If they feel its not ready it doesnt matter what date telesales or the Reps give.

There must be a reason for the hold up at which I am glad about the hold-up but unhappy as well. Just makes for a more stable phone. My contact would not state the 11/2 date unless it was a for sure thing that it wasnt coming out on the 19th as we are all being told.

Is there a chance that 11/2 is just a store launch, where you can get the device on the website on 10/19? I want this phone sooooo bad, and really want to skip the diamond.

Is that in-store though? They may do telesales starting the 19th and in-store 11/2, since I haven't yet seen a diamond in a Sprint store. Just being hopeful

I would doubt it as Stores have been told as of today that the 10/17 they will finally get the diamond. This is a little over a month after the release of the Diamond thru telesales.

I am emailing back to try and find more information out and clarify though.

A lot of people would get hosed over if this were true since they are planning on returning their diamond for the touch pro.
