Re: htc touch pro (rafael) price?
Yeah... 3rd party retailers get paid $300-500 for activating new lines and renewal/upgrades... There are a lot of retailers who lower their prices and take a hit to their commission in order to sell a lot more phones on ebay... It's pretty brilliant.. you may only make $100/phone, but you'll sell 1500 phones a week if you're $300 lower than the sprint store.
just watch out for the fine print. Most of them charge you if you cancel or downgrade your service within the first 6 months after getting your phone, because sprint docks their commission if you do that... |

Re: htc touch pro (rafael) price?
Just watch ebay.. Nobody is selling moguls at that price now, presumably because demand is low... but when a phone is in high demand, it's a very common deal on ebay...
As an example, my friend bought a pantech duo on ebay recently for $50 with a contract extension.. the at&t store gets $279 w/ extension, I believe... when moguls first came out, about 1 out of every 4 ebay auctions for them was a retailer selling them between 50-150. |

Re: htc touch pro (rafael) price?
I saw this article which mentions HTC has a deal with a Taiwan carrier to sell the Diamond for $98 with certain contracts, so I am hopeful this phone will be out for $250 or less for Sprint...

Re: htc touch pro (rafael) price?
I just hope that I can purchase it through our corporate 3rd party for an automatic discounted price without being close to my upgrade date.
