lol dude stop spreading bull-sh like you have some insider info. the dimaond/pro wont be in burgundy theyll be black/dark gray (whatever color it is) like the GSM counterparts.

The front camera is clearly gone from the pictures of the Sprint Diamond, and as said above, you cant do simultaneous voice/data for video calling so there wont ever be a front camera on current EVDO.

My personal feeling on the dates is the Pro will be out first. Sprint didnt fill out and submit huge amounts of FCC paperwork first for a device coming out 2 months after the Diamond which hasnt even been filed for yet. Thatd make no logical sense what so ever. Also the mogul is much older than the Touch, about half a year, and is due for an upgrade first. Also, both phones were also listed as Q4 2008, meaning Oct-Dec.

Based on the actual evidence, not my brothers aunt's bf's mom's sister works for HTC, my guess would be October for the Pro (since confidentiality by HTC on the FCC was filed until Oct 19th) and Nov-Dec for the Diamond since theres no FCC filing yet and the Touch is still under a year old.

OMG, I cant wait. Im getting this cuz the PRO is to fat for me. I really dont like the slideout keyboard. Im not going to lie, the Touch Pro looks real hot cuz it looks like the Diamond and the Touch Flo 3D. Im getting the Diamond cuz of how small it is. Any one notice that Sprints Touch Diamond doesnt look so squarish??? It looks rounder on the edges for some reason. It looks good.

Uhhhh... they could route both voice and video over a data connection (3G)... Kinda like what software apps like Skype and oovoo do on computers.

If they aren't going have forward facing cameras, I'm just going to wait for the Tegra based phones.

Touch Pro is mine when it comes out.. Been holding on to my Apache, because I wasn't going for any of the available options:

ATT - Data plans are rediculos;
Sprint - Mainly because they have a Mogul, that has nothing more than my Apache;
Verizon - Because they crippled it to death..


So, once Sprint gets the Touch Pro, I am jumping ship..
Anyone feeling generous, and want to let me get a SERO invite?

dude that guy is gone he must have got in troubke ir he just kives watching us all suffer because of a lack in a review, a spec sheet, a handson vid, or even an overview to see if they upgraded the interior just like they did with the htc touch(sprint) which was much better in everyay than the vogue

It just seems to make sense that the Diamond will come first, since its already released overseas. I have a GSM version (if you would like to make me an offer on it, PM me).

I haven't seen a lot of pics of the raphael yet. However, the one on wmexperts looks extremely brickish. The thinner body makes it look absolutely ghastly IMO.

Exactly. Even if Sprint didn't officially support it with included software/3G optimization, etc., it would still be nice to use with third party programs. With Rev A, upload speeds should be adequate, plus there is always WiFi. Lack of simultaneous voice and data really makes little difference. The only benefit would be that the data network wouldn't have to carry the voice stream along with the video, but typical VOIP carries voice at a fairly low bitrate, so the difference isn't huge.

Edit: While I agree that it would be more logical for Sprint to release the Pro as a Mogul replacement first, most evidence seems to indicate that it will be the Diamond making the first debut. Just have to wait and see. Also, why whould Tegra based phones necessarily include a front-mount camera? Isn't it the networks that are requesting their removal?
