Yup.. I would say thats probably WHY he hasnt posted anything. Trying to lay low you know? If he even works for Sprint anymore. His picture has already been on every WM site, Engadget, and Gizmodo, and im sure SOMEBODY in his department checks at least one of those sites.

There is a reasonable chance that a Sept. 2nd release for the Touch Pro.

They are guessing that the MP6950 by HTC is the Touch Pro OR Diamond.
My personal guess is that it is the Diamond, since the Touch is a 6900 model, and the Mogul is a 6800 model. However, I don't actually know how HTC does their model numbers.
Also, my apologies if the link has already been posted. I saw the date, but not a link...

On a side note, perhaps somebody can clarify something for me:
If you buy an Instinct at full price, can you activate on a SERO plan? I'm not getting one, but I was curious to know. A little shady on Sprint to begin with. I was never a big fan of the iphone bs anyways, and Sprint trying to replicate it is kinda crap too. If they do that, just call it the Instinct plan.

For the Love of God stop.I called sprint tonight and talked to the top.Not CS and not a super but ex services.

When i called them awhile back about the instinct they knew what was what and how it was going to be on SE plans only.BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the rest of the PDA type phones which many buisness people use and people who have had sprint a long time use like the new htc phones the 800w etc etc etc DO NOT require you to be on that plan.In fact i have her ID number so when it comes out she is not going to make me send in for the rebate since im a 8 year customer.BTW she had no clue as to release date or price.But was very precise about the htc phones,Along with the treo's.

Give this topic a rest!

LOL, calm down friend.
I was pretty sure about what you said already. What I was really interested in was if you could get the Instinct on a SERO plan if you payed the full price for it. Also, never trust Sprint customer service. It's pretty bad, and I'm pretty sure the reps just say things to get you off the line. I also have a feeling they tell you they are upper tier, when in fact they are just nicer CS, lol.
Anyhow, it is pretty off topic anyways, it had just been brought up a lot and I was confused.

Instinc have a minimium simpy everything plan required. U will get more success by buying an unctivated phone and activate it on ur sero account.

Umm when i call i say cancel not talk to a flukey *2 rep they have no clue.But if you want the right info you call say cancel then escalate it and you hve the people who know.

Why does everyone think the 6950 is the Touch Pro?

The Touch is the 6900 and the Diamond is the updated version of the touch...

My money is on the Diamond being the 6950, therefore I'm not looking forward to September 2nd.

We will probably get the Raphael around December.
