Re: Raphael = HTC Touch Pro
Some more up-close, hands-on pics of the Touch Pro (MDA Vario IV in this case) are shown here.
Check the site for the full lineup, but here are a couple of nice ones: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by bedoig; 06-12-2008 at 10:25 AM. |

Re: Raphael = HTC Touch Pro
I just thought of something else. If the Pro and the Diamond now incorporate FM radios with RDS, we should be able to receive TMC traffic data now right? Are TMC transmissions widespread in the US?

=D>I need this phone NOW!!!
Any release date for Sprint? Any way to get this phone oversees and use it on sprint? MUST GET PHONE NOW!!! ( I especially want it before 7/11 to make fun of all those tools who feel a 3g iphone is a "new piece of technology".. not to mention you'll have the same phone as a 14 year old girl") - |

Re: Raphael = HTC Touch Pro
I would guess that the Sprint version will be the first CDMA device that is released. So, unfortunately, there is almost no chance that you could even find a CDMA phone before then. Even if you did, you would have to get Sprint to accept it on their network, which wouldn't be likely.
Even if you wanted to get a GSM phone to use on AT&T you would be out of luck because our 3G data operates on different frequencies than most of the rest of the world. You'd be stuck with EDGE speeds ![]() We just have to wait till the devices are officially brought to the US, which is looking like Q4 of this year. |

Re: Raphael = HTC Touch Pro
For some reason I don't like the looks of the MDA...
I hope it looks... better with Sprint. I can't put my finger on it, but the renderings look SO much better. Part if it is the back cover. Also, the d-pad looks cheap. Do you guys think that Sprint will keep the Diamond style cover on both phones? They better...
