256mb is too small of a card to run Android on - you need at a minimum 512mb. SD cards are dirt cheap...

Also, why can't you run on the 8gb card? You can put everything in folders, although Android does create some of its own so you can't completely have everything localized to one folder on the SD...

I noticed this too with the low speakerphone volume. I'll try to track down when it was working, seemed like it was back when FRX03 came out and post this kernel after I test and confirm the kernel after that.

Best version yet for my RAPH800! Except for the aforementioned speakerphone volume and the random, albeit less frequent phone restarts, this is a great build! Great job and keep it up!

Re: [BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes

finally found a swype version that works on this

But it lags enough to make it not very useful :S

edit: been using this again, found that the battery drains a lot faster than i thought :S While "powered off" over night, the battery went from 100% to 20% in 8 hours. And the phone wasn't even in use.

Seems awesome. Quick question though, does this work on flashed devices as well? I'm just curious if it changes setting upon boot-up and causes trouble for those who use a different carrier. Thanks in advance.

So long as you're not overclocking WinMo, the underlying ROM has no effect on Android... so it should work just fine.

The panel on RAPH's and I believe DIAM's is not powered off. Devs I believe have figured out how to power down the panel, but now they are having issues bringing it back up. RHOD had the same issue, and it's still kind of a problem.

So basically the panel is always on - brightness is set to 0 and the backlight is turned off, but the panel is always on, sucking powa.

Re: [BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes

Not to revive an old thread, but having tried Froyo 7.1 on a Touch Pro and discovering the "no data" issue for Raph 800, I took arrrrrgghhh's advice (thank you again for all your efforts on our behalf!) and installed Froyo 6 sucessfully and data is good.

Now, I have discovered the "wifi tether error" issue which is a big deal for me as I am using Android on Touch Pro only for the tethering capability with HP TouchPAd.

Tethering worked well with my now missing Touch Pro2, so I am returning to a Touch Pro trying to duplicate the tethering capability.

Has the issue been addressed / fixed?

Thanks.

Dunno.

Try a third party app, and figure out how to enable ad-hoc networks on your TouchPad?
