Re: Looking for Magic Button App
There is a button config app that is cooked in to a lot of the ROMS I have tried, but I am not 100% sure where to find it for a stand-alone install.
Also, it may not do everything you are looking for. It can map a long press of any of the nav keys to perform an action, but I don't think it can handle multiple presses. |

Re: Looking for Magic Button App
Ok, thanks, I will look around.
All i really need is just one press on the headset button to play/pause.. I never used it to navigate, well very seldom. Edit,, I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502881 Last edited by BlindDude; 05-25-2010 at 12:05 AM. |

Re: Looking for Magic Button App
I actually have come across some VERY cool software. Its called "headsetbutton" and it can be found at www.headsetbutton.com. It has three functions... 1 press double press and press and hold, which can be assigned to whatever controls you want.
I will post this in the software section. Please if you need to control media player with your wired headset button, check out www.headsetbutton.com. Thanks |
