the only reason its referred to as illegal is because usually for sprint to activate a phone not on their network the esn must be changed to a phone their network does support.this is illegal.

To do it properly, where in Sprint should I be calling? I kept getting techs who kept saying the same thing ... "it's not possible". Should I tell them it's a Virgin or Boost phone (since they claimed that they can activate those) and raise hell when it errors?
