Help (Part's)

I've been having a problem for awhile now with the Touch Screen part having a screwed up color and when you push the bottom right lower hand corner it just gets worse. I tried to take it to Sprint the first time for the ear pieace going out, but they wanted to trade me for a Refurbished one. I said NO because I paid full price for a REAL one that has no problems, but the screen/top pieace. Then they broke a pieace off above the volume.
I then took it in the other day for the screen screwing up, they did the same thing, but they tried to replace just the screen/top pieace, but couldn't. Agaain, the guy broke my phone, the trim on the right hand side and a few cracks.

Anyways I told them to **** off and I will just to see if someone has a spare or just find a broken one to replace.

Question: Does anyone have a spare or broken Touch Pro Phones they don't mind parting out?
I'm just looking for the Touch Screen/top half. My keyboard is perfect fine, camera, speaker phone and the hardware is fine. Just the part that slides open is a problem and I need to replace it.
I do NOT like the Touch Pro 2

Edit: Yes I will pay money depending on a price.

I know this isn't the answer that your looking for, but maybe you should take the refurbished touch pro.. I know how you feel about it and i was that way at first too especially after hearing all the horror storys but i went to my local sprint store and got a refurbished one for my original touch pro, and it actually works a lot better and looks like new.. Now i wouldn't suggest getting one from those stores that are ruining your phone.. The store i go to everyone is really nice. Try to find a new sprint store. If this doesn't appeal to you at all my best advice is to either try ebay or contact HTC if your still under warranty. Best of luck..

I have to say you are alot nicer than I am. I would have made the dumb employee's manager replace it with a TP2 or another device of my choice. They are now trying to replace it as an insurance claim most likely.
Take it back and tell them that they physically damaged you property and you demand a new replacement not a refurb.

i got bad esn touch pros that i use for parts...check ebay bad esn...would give u mine but im already scrapn them. if u need help figuring out how to take it apart and replace parts tho giv me a holler. i have replaced a screen and an internal speaker so far. hardest part is finding the right screwdrivers. also ask stores that buy second hand phones...they dont usually buy bad esn but if u ask them to pick one up for u i am sure they would...they come across them often. dont kno if u have an intouch mobile but that is the store here that does that sort of thing.

machineking369 - See my problem is I've been having nothing but problems with refurbished phones, HTC Touch Pro and a bunch of others, not one has been good to me. Since mine is still pretty brand new looking, no wear and tear until they broke parts, I don't want to give them a brand new phone that I paid full price for another POS that's been dropped, damanaged, wrecked before and what not. I'm tired of going thru phones to get it perfect. I can deal with what I have before that happens. But a guy has a pretty brand new Touch Pro that he will sell for $40, but he screwed it up trying to flash.

whitey10tc - Yeah, well I've been ripping off Sprint for YEARS and I'm just not that mean I guess, depends on my mood and that day. The day it happened I've been working on my car, cleaning it and preping for racing. So I was being happy. But he did try to fix it and try to replace the top/sliding part, but he couldn't. he's like he can get me some equaly or a Refurbished one. I'm thinking in my head, dude I can get a Touch Pro 2 before I go that way. But I don't like the new ones. :/ The manage actually likes me and said he would replace my OTHER phone for a brand new replacement. Now since the Touch Pro 2's are out, they can't get new ones on the first editons. :/

sprintgirl - Yeah we don't have anything like that, but I found someone on CraigsList for pretty cheap, if not I'm sure someone on here would have one or something like E-Bay. I'll figure something out. :P Thanks, I'll make sure to ask you when I need help, if I ever come across something I can't do. I grew up tearing things apart and being able to put them together without using a manual or anything. LoL, I don't know how many times I've taken the phone apart to play with. Now the thing I can't do would be the Color Mod thing.
