If you downloaded the MR2 update from the link Guero posted then it would hard reset your phone. The easiest thing to do was to follow the directions from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49933

IF you run the MR2 as suggested you will lose all your data and wind up with a stock VZW ROM. If you then try to flash a custom rom you will be right back where you started with a gimped GPS!
