The difference really is that Sprint will subsidize the phones and require a contract, and t-mobile won't.
Totally trying to, but when Sprint gives us crappy phones with terrible customer service, it's difficult to justify even the $30/mo plan.

Sprint is doing all they can to make people hate SERO
.
T-Mobile subsidizes with a contract just like Sprint and like Sprint offers the non-discounted purchase option too. Like with a
Touch Pro 2 from T-Mobile. The $269 price is the subsidized option that includes a 2 year contract. The $449 price is unsubsidized. That's cheaper than
Sprint's prices, which are $299 subsidized and $599 unsubsidized.
(Sprint's $299 subsidized price assumes you'll be successful in trying to get the $100 mail in rebate, without that the subsidized price is $399.)
