Microsoft My Phone broke my messaging screen!

Ok so I recently changed roms on my phone to a clean 6.5 one on my Verizon touch pro. The rom had My Phone already installed but I had to upgrade to a new version to use it. After the update I cannot reply to or create new text messages or emails. I also have sense 2.1 installed and whenever I click new on the messages screen it takes me to the account picker instead of the new message screen. Is there any way to fix this without having to do a hard reset? It's really driving me crazy!

Re: Microsoft My Phone broke my messaging screen!

do a soft reset and see if it helps.

if not, then try uninstall and reinstall ms phone and see if that helps.

if not, then hard reset the device.

I already soft reset a lot of times but that didn't seem to help and I really don't want to hard reset because I have my phone like I want it except for that one bug.

Are you sure that My phone aplication its the one that's causing the problem? Could be your rom. But try this if you don't want to uninstall myphone: open my phone, go to the menu, then account and then click on stop using service. Good luck!

JD's 6.5 clean rom and I installed VZ carrier cab and the arcsoft program first to make sure my text messages were still working and it did but as soon as I installed the new version of Myphone and restarted the phone the messaging screen stops loading.

Re: Microsoft My Phone broke my messaging screen!

then there is a compatibility issue between myphone and the sms software. reflash and install myphone first and see what happens. dont forget to soft reset after the install of both myphone and arcsoft.
