Here is the latest Modules/zImage from the wave. Make sure you back up your current ones in the event that your device doesn't like it.

Cool. Do you know what's changed with these?

Sorry I've been out of touch. I haven't posted a new kernel here in a while, since all the new ones have been more steps backward than steps forward. I'll try to wrap up a newer kernel and stick it in the first post today. Just have to get sound working again and make calibration look halfway decent.

It was a test kernel posted on the wave.

- Power off works again
- Touch screen tweak

Thats all I see for now.

I've built a kernel off your current commit on gitorious and when you're saying sound you mean system sounds or in call sounds? I don't get the ring tones playing but I can hear/talk to phone calls.

device speaker, not earpiece. Seems to be the same fix that got reverted -- power off works and sound doesn't, or vice versa. I put it back to the way I like it. :-p Since I never power off (Who turns their phone off?), I'd rather have sound working. But some people report that sound and poweroff work together... I don't know what the story is.

Touchscreen calibration is now workable. Unfortunately, I've gotta split right now, so it'll have to wait till tonight/tomorrow morning to get uploaded.

I still can't get CDMA data to work. Tried formatting my SD card, setting up APN with the username/password used for #777 data but nothing has worked. Does data have to be setup a certain way in Windows Mobile for it to work right in Android?

I realized the phone was still responsive when i opened the keyboard and it rotated. at that point the touchscreen and buttons still didn't react but soon after that they came alive :) ymmv

Well this doesn't seem to hold true. It let's me hit a key once this starts but then goes frozen again. I ended up giving up on the 1/27 kernel from wave and have gone back to the 1/17 from the first page here.

If you can't wait for the official update here is a kernel I built. My first one building but the deep sleep doesn't seem to work it reboots if it sits for a while.

Just restating this one does work but if the device is idle for a while it will reboot back in to WinMo other than that everything else works. Except turning wifi on and off again to see if that crashes it.

Same issue here, searched everywhere for a solution with no luck.
