Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

I haven't read the whole thread to see if this has been addressed but:
Android thinks my phone is always charging, except it is on and off and on and off...

Then the android Market doesn't download anything...

I am running the 1/24 release with the files in the first post.

it says on the first page, either here or at xda, that the battery status is all messed up. So when its charging it'll show that its not, but it is, and vice versa.

im havin the same problem with the market/data not working...

I'm on Alltel and I get the 3G icon, but nothing data-wise works.

The first time I tried it, I had the same problem, where nothing with DATA worked, despite the 3G icon. So I went back to windows, and ran Internet Explorer went to a web page other than its home page, and started Android again. After that, I have not had a single problem with DATA on the Android side of things. I can even start a DATA connection from within Android now.

I am on Sprint, and I am using 25.01.10

there is a system.sqsh update on the XDA Page. it fixes the market issue. here is the update for that. http://htcandroid.xland.cz/system_core_readded.sqsh A few pages back I posted a repackaged file with the latest XDA-Build/current modules/zimage from here/and the updated system.sqsh all in a rar file if you didn't want to piece this.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

Thank you peterm20 for your reply to my problem. However i don't think i stated it fully, along with my keyboard being broken, my TP stays in landscape mode. Whatever sensor that senses the keyboard it out is broken, so it acts like its always out. I can't get auto rotate to work because i think the keyboard orientation sensor takes priority over the accelerometer. I can't type anything because i'm stuck in landscape. I wish there was a way to make my TP think it was a Diamond. I tried switching the startup files with the diamond ones but everything started normally. Thank You for you help.

Dang, I just knew that was going to work! But as you can probably tell by my first statement it did not. Still getting a "no internet connection" error in the browser.

Try to turn off the auto rotate screen in the android settings.

Awesome! Market works now. Thanks a Ton!

This is almost making me want to keep my TP for awhile, Sprint is sending me a TP2. It doesn't look like android is as far along on it...
