Anyone know why my only ringtone is "Silent"? A few other users had this issue in this thread but no one responded with a fix.

hey guys, i've seen a rom in xda for GSM Diamond and it has both OS on it(i mean it's running dual OS), if you want to change, reset the device and at the boot screen, choose which OS you'd like (ex. Wm or Android) and then done! i think that would be a nice way to use two OS at the same time and that'll totally beat down the iP :D just my thought ^^

Goto the market place and download ringtones. Set it to whatever u want. For some reason this verdion doesn't always load the sounds for the ringtones. Get any ringtone from the market n you'll be fine.

Look, I guess the cell tower is what caused my gps to work but I even rcvd an e-mail from google telling me that I used google latitude. I guess I'm still excited,. How is it that it never worked and then I tested with different pieces of the software?the 02.02.10. Release, the 2.0.1 releas 9other site, evades me now) and the 2.9.10 release? I'm not doubting you bc I'm not a developer but just wonding why it didn't work b4..
.
Also, I dl'dd a widget to turn off data (3G) and it seems to prolong my batt life, find it in the market as toggle. Data I believe,(white widget, black icon on market) AND IT WON'T REBOOOT YYYOUR PHONE111

Hope what I've given helps, I love windowss mobile. But if I could dualboot my ppc and my pc to windows or linux....then I'm down.

Developers, if there is anything I. Can do for you, lemme know. I'm not the best in linux but I'm a little on my stuff, I just had the opportuniity to serve my company as a lan/wan admin (just saying. That because I'm proud of it) but I'm going to get a tp2 (hopefully the tp3 if it comes out) so I will have my spare tp to use as a test device. I love this phone. My wife has a tp2 but no ctlr or tab key n I need those keys for remote desktop (VPN or RDM). Anyway, I'm here 2 help with what I can, send me instructions and/or files, I don't. Mind flashing my phone 10x's a day ()I work 12 hrs a day zo I have time during work). Lemme know...

EDIT: Just noticed, sorry for the double post.

Ok so with the 2400mah battery it seems to have charged. However the system is telling me the battery is charged. So far it seems to be jumping around in the 90s. 100, 96, I haven't seen it go below 90 yet. I'm going to let this battery drain and see how long it lasts with normal usage.

I am also getting a lag on the hardkb.

But I am at 1 day 12 hours without a freeze, reboot, or anything. Still running strong.

My ring tones worked out of the box. Ring and text. And I am liking the light but I'm thinking being in my pocket they are always on. When I can ill play with the startup.txt

I'd wipe your SD card and start fresh. At the very least start with a fresh data.img.
