I got the data connection to work, was able to browse a page, I cant seem to get my location to work, in either navigation or maps, or the google web home page. Battery life reporting is def an issue as well as the crashes, but this did just what i had hoped and helped my decision about what phone to get next! thanx everyone who made this possible!

Agreed... about the only thing I think I'd miss from WinMo is MyMobiler. There's a few apps that kinda do it for Android, but none are near the quality of MyMobiler. |

how does android work with that? I can get over not using the camera, thats why we have digis, but the speed and crashing and battery is rough. How is your time with a 6.1 rom? I was able to make a 6.1 bare rom in caulkins kitchen with over 60% free on boot so i think im going to try it out
Believe it or not my 6.5 build idles at 60 used, 53 free on a page pool of 6 |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
Whipped up a 6.1 build that boots only using 35% resources and stays there....Android is semi usable now! Tops!

I did it with calks kitchen. ITs not too bad. Still pretty buggy. Going to try with the overclock setting on.
I guess if I hate it i can always go back to a super fast 6.1 lol. Although i do hate the softkeyboard glitch |
