Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

I'm using the AIO added on 6-13 and haret.exe is freezing my Raph800 as well. I formatted my SD card and moved over the andboot folder. I tried the startup.txt initially inside the andboot folder, got two quick vibrates (which previously indicated it was about to boot) and then the screen freezes.

Startup.txt in andboot folder:
set ramsize 0x6000000
set ramaddr 0x10000000
set mtype 2039
set KERNEL zImage
set initrd initrd.gz
set cmdline "lcd.density=240 msmvkeyb_toggle=off physkeyboard=raph gsensor_axis=2,-1,3 rel_path=andboot acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=528000"
boot

And from the raph800 setup config folder, same results:
set ramsize 0x10000000
set ramaddr 0x10000000
set mtype 2039
set KERNEL zImage
set initrd initrd.gz
set cmdline "lcd.density=210 msmvkeyb_toggle=off physkeyboard=raph board-htcraphael-navi.wake=0 gsensor_axis=2,-1,3 acpuclock.force_turbo=1"
boot

On reboot, the phone has a reeeally hard time starting sense (using the latest Energy ROM) curious if the ROM i'm using could be having any effect. Will try a simpler one and get back.

Changing the ROM didn't have any effect.

Does a previous AIO package work?

If so, replace startup.txt, zImage and modules-* from the previous package (and remove data.img) and try again.

Keep replacing components until it starts working to isolate which one makes the difference.

ok tach try using the text from the bottom startup.txt you posted. when in the startup.txt, is everything seperated by little boxes or is everything on it's own line?

as you can see rom has nothing to do with it.

have you updated anything in the package? rootfs or zimage?

Thanks,

p.s. I was also wondering what folder to put music in to listen to music. For some reason it only finds some of my audio files.

I have sprint and i cant get GPS to work at all. Which package are you using?

Looks like everything is basically on it's own line. there is a line break after the ramsize value, after that, from set ramaddr on is one line.

I found the AIO package from 5-11. I'll start with that and slowly replace items from the new AIO. I'll update what I can if i find the problem item.

Solution for my RAPH800 haret.exe freezing: I found that replacing the initrd.gz with the latest (provided as a link in post 1) took care of it. To be honest i'm a little confused, i believe the version packed in the latest AIO is the same that i downloaded, but I've successfully booted into XDandroid! Thanks for the help hamagc and sfhub, got me pointed in the right direction. Great advice!

Yo Makk, I just did a hard reset. I have your andboot folder decompressed and on the root of my storage card. when I run Haret, it goes to a haret version pre-0.5.3-200912...screen with a "run" button prompting "default.txt", and a "listen for network connection" button. The run button causes an error message "Cannot open script file \Storage\Card\andboot\default.txt". I have read most of this thread. Maybe I missed something?

Try updating all your files to the newest of everything - replace ALL. Even if it looks like you have the newest initrd, replace it. Looks like the newest rootfs, who cares replace it. Etc.

Maybe the initrd got corrupted on compress/upload. Has anyone downloaded it from the link in the first post and had it work?
