to those of you having battery issues and heat issues, download one of the widgets to turn WiFi OFF. since i have done that the phone has run much cooler anf the battery seems to last longer. im going to try the APN ON/OFF next to see if that helps with the battery.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but where is the startup config folder. I can't seem to locate it. I need to copy the startup txt file. I have a touch pro.

I can't get my data connection to work. I've tried playing with the apn settings, but I'm getting nowhere. filling in 'android' or 'generic cdma' for the name and then 'internet' for the apn isn't working. does anyone else have this problem? I am using the 2.2 build on a sprint touch pro.

delete everything on the card, reformat it to FAT32 then reinstall and see if that works. you are using the correct startup.txt right?

try filling in the rest of the info. for my VZN TP all i had to do was the "android" and "internet" but later i filled in the rest of VZN's data info like user name and password. not sure what sprint uses but im sure it wont be hard to find.

Mine would not work correctly at first either. Make sure you are in a place where you have service and strong service before you boot the Android. Then go into your APN and Name: Android, APN: internet. Then click the home button and save it and then wait a few minutes.

I had a little trouble the first time and then I never did after it connected once.

Hi, it's me again.

I've tried formatting my SD card using Gparted. No luck again.

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'll use the 2.2 from XDA till this issue is sorted out somehow.

Thank you all for helping me out.

If it's not broke don't fix it...
