ok i'm not sure where everyone else is on this but to my knowledge airplane mode hasn't worked on raph800 via settings.

playing around lastnight i was able to turn airplane mode on and off and restore all connections via the power button.

anyone else with similar findings?

I had a problem with airplane mode a while ago... but as far as I know it's been working for a while. Accidentally turned it on last week, worked just fine ;)

RAPH800 Airplane mode works here.

I do hate to poke the bear, but I have to know... have you had boot failures from having memory full in WinMo? Have you tried any different ROMs like that lightNBH ROM or whatever to see if it makes a difference whatsoever?

Have not had boot failures. Have not tried different ROMs. Can't really weigh in one way or the other on that issue (and seem too lazy at the moment to find out). And yes, there is still 64mb of RAM unexposed on the raph500 (and diam100).

My experience recently has been that airplane mode generally works, but sometimes the radio will get confused, at which point trying to go into airplane mode does no good, and a reboot is required.

I don't think anyone's gotten data working on Cricket. And I'm not sure where the problem is, either. Data authentication/authorization, proxy servers, something.

For RAPH500'ers w/ boot issues, maybe try Gen.Y dualboot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623792

It launches quite early in the winmo boot process, maybe more memory will stay free for android. If that is, in fact, the problem, I'm not guessing either way. ;)

I tried the files on the first page, but it wouldn't work, kept getting the "waiting for the SD card" message. Even formated and used a new 1gb sd, but no go. I d/l the xda 2.2 instead, and wow, it worked!!! Wasn't 100% reliable, but if it gets much better I'd consider using this.

just a heads up, I was able to successfully boot into android at 748MHz, although it is much more stable at 729mhz. using overclock widget im able to get decent battery life with moderate use throughout the day. there is definetly a difference in terms of response to the touch screen.

Has anyone else tried hitting their max on the phone?

I've switched phones since I last tried it, but my old RAPH800 was an absolute dog. Unstable at 650, unbootable at 700. So there's a pretty big range.

I'm getting married tomorrow, so I probably won't be around for a few days. Take care and see you all later. :)
