thank you, I change resolution to 210 and Facebook is there.

Android is very cool, it's something that I could consider running all the time.

I have one major problem though with the new all-in-one download. When the screen blanks (due to inactivity, or if I press the end call button) and then I wake it up again, the screen will now be very dim. It does not make a difference what setting the brightness is at.

I believe you need to disable auto adjust backlight in Windows Mobile before you launch Android.

yes for sure. That worked for me.

Anyone got any tips for preserving the battery? I have the extended battery and can barely get 9 hours out of this thing with normal use. I'm already killing all the background apps.

For some reason (and I thought it was because of the GenY which apparently it isn't) when I go to reboot my android OS I get a "Failed to Mount SD card" message about 4 out of 5 times. If I just keep trying to reboot, eventually it will boot but not after failing several times. I am booting from the haret.exe file and not the Gen Y and still having these issues. Any ideas?

I get about 5 hours with normal usage I'd say. Probably less. If you're running Android, sit by a charger - it's a constant work-in-progress, and power management has improved greatly, trust me. It's not where it "needs" to be to go to a full NAND ROM, but battery life is definitely the best it's been to date.

They still have kinks to work out, so patience is key - unless you're in the know and can lend a hand. Doesn't seem like there's any devs who do this for a living, I mean companies don't make any money from reverse-engineering products like this. Google isn't making money, HTC isn't, and your provider definitely isn't. Heck, they're probably losing money because now you don't want to buy a new device because Android runs on your tired WinMo phone.

On that note, I love this project. When I see how quickly the screen rotates and how the typing actually keeps up with me... I just can't believe how poor WinMo really is at the core. Keep it up devs, I can't wait to see this project "complete"! (Here's to hoping it gets near that stage!)

Wouldn't it be awesome to have a full Android ROM??:headbang: I wonder if it will ever get there. I'll keep watching....

Hey All,

I've been trying to run Android for some time now, with no luck.
I tried the new AIO package, but still no luck. The boot up gets stuck @ the error message:

Code:

INFO: task rpcrouter:15 blocked for more 120 seconds.
Code:

INFO: task dd:81 blocked for more 120 seconds.
I've tried formatting, then copying everything again to my SD card again, but same error. I've tried a few config files, but it always comes back to this error. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
