Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
You should ask that question over on the xda-developers forums (there's a few links in the first post -- I'm not sure where the best place to ask over there would be). There might be some work being done on importing other character sets, but the vast majority of people in this thread are in the US or Canada, so I haven't heard anything about it.

Edit: I also make a XDAndroid fan page on FB If anyone wanted to show off their support for the project. All my friends now know how nerdy i am ha! http://www.facebook.com/pages/XDAndroid and I will make the devs admins if they wanted. |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
You may be able to use this build but you will DEFINATELY need a TP2 startup file. If you dont have one by this evening, I will post it for you when I get home. PM me if needed. I believe I have one as I use this on my wifes TP2 also...

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
FWIW I noticed that if you shut down everything using advanced task killer prior to shutting off wifi it prevents system reboots.
Hope this helps someone. Glad I did not upgrade to TP2 as I would not have sound with android yet, LOL. Great work Mek et al. |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
It seems that the kernel panic on turning wifi off has been fixed in the recent module builds.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
So, I've got a VZW TPro that I've been running the SSK 2.7.5 ROM on, and I've been trying to load Android, but no success. I've asked for help & posted my config here but haven't been pointed in a helpful direction yet.
Can anyone help if I ask pretty please? Thanks very much! Z |
