sprint is no longer giving TP2 the list is now Pre, Treo, Snap and TP1

They are offering free upgrades to the TP2 its just in certain states is what I found out. They did offer it here in Cali but removed it and is now offering Pre, Treo, Snap and TP1 and I think one old BB not sure which model number.

if thats what sprint told you, i wouldnt take their word for it. sometimes you gotta try lots of times at lots of stores or on the phone with lots of different reps. sprint will give you any thing you want if you ask em right, or have a good argument.

Do you guys really think sprint or htc wouldnt try to take as much money from you as they could if they had a loop hole to get away with it?? Of course they would along with every other cell company!! So I say if you have a loop hole to get a free phone then go for it!!

ive said it b4 and ill say it again.. i dont really care about SPRINT or the TP1 problems.. serves them right for selling a 600 dollar device for atleasst 7/8months after they knew it was significantly flawed... i dont really care if people cant afford upgrades or replacements, its not my fault.. i can afford it, so if deductables go up, i really dont care, i never use asurion really anyways and if i do, SPRINT allways gives me courtesy credits to cover costs.. so im gonna do what i do, and if i find flaws in products or the system, im gonna let as many people know that can...

and anyone that wants to complain about this, i suggest boycotting tethering threads then, since thats flat out theft.. which i do as well, along with tons of people on here..and i dont wanna hear, "i have unlimited data" that doesnt include tethering, flat out...

Where's the fraud? You are intentionally disabling a device, in order to falsely get a replacement for a device that is not really broken. You obviously are smart enough to flash ROM's so why don't you flash one that works well and call it a day?

I'm sure if you carefully read the TOS you will find that this is fraud. (Ever hear of insurance fraud? This stinks to high hell.)

Well, my phone has been having serious issues. With custom rom's, without custom rom's. I believe they took the Touch Pro off the market for sprint and I believe it's because of the all the problems with it. When I bought this phone I was hoping to get what I paid for and I didn't. I called sprint talked to them and they gave me some options & touch pro 2 was not one of them, but I am so sick of the touch pro I decided to give the Palm Pre a try.. I know is not too much of an upgrade like the pro 2 would be but i want a camera where I can take a picture of my kid indoors and it not coming out very blury, and where I can make a call without it getting dropped. or sending a text & nobody recieves it till 3 hours later. Good luck to all you guys trying to get a touch pro2 I feel ya and I do not think its fraud, if anything HTC and sprint ripped us off!! Happy Holidays

I second that! the camera on these things is a joke no matter how much you tweak it. im just glad the camera wasnt one of the main reasons I bought it although it would be nice to use it.
