I want something to clear my phone

Must be a Verizon thing cuz mine doesnt do it like that. I physically hard reset all the time and never ever have seen that initial programming thing. The only time I saw it was when I bought the phone new.

I'm on verizon and the only time I see that is if I switch back to stock rom.

hey chubby.... just a couple suggestions. ANY time you flash a rom, you want to hard reset as soon as the rom is done installing.... this wipes all the crap that was left in memory from the previous installation so your new rom can run as designed. also, many have noticed that it's a good idea to periodically flash the stock rom because it helps to clean up some of the factory settings that you need for your phone to function properly.
