Re: TP2 VoiceCommand/Data
Just got it working on mine. I am using an XBI headset on my motorcycle helmet and MightyROM 6.5 from 3/23/2010.
Installed the Bluetooth Ringtone Fix.cab from xda, turned on "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device" in the Advanced Bluetooth options, and then soft reset. |

Sprint 6.5 official ROM, BlueAnt z9i BT headset. Did exactly as above: installed the bluetooth ringtone fix.cab from xda then turned on "play system sounds on remote hands-free device" in the Advanced Bluetooth options. I had ignored mention of that cab before as I don't use custom ringtones and didn't care about ringtone over BT, but with that combo I've got the incoming call announcement working over the BT headset! Thank you. |

Re: TP2 VoiceCommand/Data
Meh ... Very excited to see this working for you ... I did not fare as well.
The audio does play through the bluetooth, but when it comes time to announce the caller information, it plays via the phone set in speakerphone mode. This is with Mr. X rom. Next time I flash I will try stock sprint 6.5 and see if I experience the same. Best regards, -boggsie

Re: TP2 VoiceCommand/Data
I flashed to stock and reproduced the exact same results as Mr. X ROM.
However, I always use Vibrate and not a ring for my phone answer notification. Once I changed my ring tone from vibrate to an actual tone, I could hear the voice command announcement. So all I need to do is use silent.wav as my ring tone and this will work very nice for me. Best regards, -boggsie Quote:

Re: TP2 VoiceCommand/Data
Had this problem as well....Using Sprint stock rom,WM 6.5 with Motorola H17 BT.....Made the following regedit....
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WIDCOMM\Plugin\HandsFr ee] "SupportedFeatures"=dword:000005EF (1519) default was 1383.. After reset, BT announces all calls including custom ringtones... Found this fix on XDA... |
