Re: win 7 x64

I had some similar issues with Windows 7 x64 Professional as well, but uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling fixed it for me no prob. Glad you got it to work.

On a side note since we've claimed victory in this thread....

I'm finding this to be a great OS for the most part.
Zero issues and just works right.

Hope its the same for y'all as well.

Re: win 7 x64

Running win 7 Ultimate & love it. On syncing issue I have to uncheck the phones usb to pc, "enable faster data sync" Mine doesn't read it with this selection but has no ill effects on data transfer

It will actually work even if you leave "Enable faster data..." checked, just connect the phone, you will hear the driver installation failed tone in windows. Run windows update and it will install the correct drivers needed. Mine syncs just fine,,, well it did before installing MS Office 2010 Beta. Now I need an updated Windows Mobil Device Center so that contacts and calendar can sync again.

Re: win 7 x64

I've been running Windows 7 Ultimate on all my computers (home desktop, 2 laptops, work desktop and work laptop) since August and haven't had any issues in a home or corporate environment. I really didn't see the "big" deal about running x64 so I stayed with x86... really don't think Windows is x64 ready or should I say software manufacturers... shoot there are some printers that don't even have x64 drivers available!!

My opinion, I'll stay with x86 for now...

Glad to know you got the problem fixed, could you edit your title to reflect that you have your issue resolved?
