im gonna guess its a dll file. i remember when vvm would only play on the speakerphone, and when we ran a rom with the latest vzw drivers it actually played on the right speaker. so maybe try a rom that has vzw drivers in it, older MM roms i know do.

if those dont work, try ##778 send or ##778#
then just go to the prl page and proceed with instructions.
if the codes still dont work, then install this and then they'll work

I am traveling in Canada and had the annoying voice only popup taking over my phone. The updated PRL fixed this for me although I seem to lose signal a little more often than before I updated the PRL. Does anyone know if there is a newer modified PRL somewhere? If not, the current version will work fine and is massively improved from the voice only pop up problem.

BTW - finally had a chance to test out the PRL update today. It worked perfect.

If you look here I have a phone tool that includes an icon to update you PRL for those of you strugling with getting the dial codes to work:
