Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
When I had my xv6800's, all I used was s2u2 & I loved it.
That was before it became such a bloated battery hog however. I now use nothing but PocketShield & I love it. I always laugh when somebody posts the "lack of themes" as a PS disadvantage. If you set PS to unlock by light, 95% of the time it unlocks so fast that you barely even see it so who cares what it looks like...... ~John |

Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
I use S2U2. I like it because I can have the important things on the lock screen (appointments, tasks, etc.). I also like the fact that you don't have to unlock the phone to see your missed calls, new text messages, and new emails. I'm not getting the battery drain that everybody else is talking about.
I have run into a recent bug with it. I can only change the wallpaper for S2U2 once. When I try to change it a second time, I get an error message. But it could be from another program I have installed. I haven't checked into it because it is not that big of a deal right now. The previous posts do have me wanting to look into PocketSheild. |

Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
I absolutely love pocketsheild because it does just what it's supposed to do and it does it well. When my phone is in the holster is stays locked, as soon as I take it out it unlocks automagically thanks to the light sensor. It's lightweight and adds no bloat and it locks EVERY time, which is opposite my experience with smartlock.
The only issue I had with PS was the fact that it kept rotating screen back to portrait when the device went to sleep with keyboard open. A quick registry key fixed it and I couldn't be happier.

Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
Tried S2U2... killed my battery almost twice as fast as not S2U2. Buggy landscape no big deal but buggy non the less. Plus... looked too much like iphone even with Raider updates lol.
Uninstalled... Tried Pocket shield... Better battery... messed with my stock slide to answer (couldn't answer at times) then my dialer got screwy... Uninstalled. Stock dialer and answer features were really messed. Hard reset... Reinstalled all Cabs. I use stock windows lock with a simple 4 digit pin. ( you'll never figure it out. lol. ) Happy. I guess. p. |

Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
Oh that reminds me. When you configure the phone part properly not only does it not mess with your ability to answer calls, but it can actually lock the screen during calls ONLY when using a bluetooth headset. This is particularly important to me as the phone likes to flip the screen on and off at random thanks to the proximity sensor which can cause all sorts of havok if the screen isn't locked and your phone is in your pocket/holster.

Re: What Lock screen are u using on TP2 ?
Yeah... that was happening too. The proximity sensor was not responding properly and when I installed pocket shield the light sensor didn't work.
I'm ok with my setup. I back up my data every night... I use My phone from microsoft, I synch with Outlook, I back up my card weekly, I have TEP with Sprint, I don't have anything in my phone you want to see SUBZERO! lol. I would be ok in case of theft, loss or catastrophic failure. Loss or theft worse case scenario. Data is a week old. Not much of a loss. Plus I don't look soft answering my phone... oh... wait... Stock ROM has slide to answer. lol. Luckily I use the hard buttons. I think. lololol. p. |
