Re: sliding keyboard doesn't wake device
Make sure this registry setting isn't messed up:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd\ look for "SlideWakeup" the value should be: 1 in order to make your tp2 turn on when you slide out the keyboard |

Re: sliding keyboard doesn't wake device
I think you're supposed to have that entry.
It basically tells your phone to turn on when you slide out the keyboard. I guess you can add the entry and see if it does anything. It won't brick your phone since the entry is only designed to turn the phone on when you slide out the keyboard. You can always delete it later. |

ok I added the registry line:
Value Name: SlideWakeup Value data: 1 Base: Decimal Value Type REG_DWORD and it still does the same thing. any other thoughts? thanks! |

Re: sliding keyboard doesn't wake device
Sorry man, I'm out of ideas. Mine wasn't turning on when I slid out the keyboard, and that registry setting was 0 for me, and it worked when I changed it to 1. There must be another registry setting, unfortunately I don't know it.

Re: sliding keyboard doesn't wake device
My verizon TP2 is the same. I usually wake it up before sliding and didn't even notice it for the first few days.Lol. No big deal to me.
