There's literally like 30 TP1 roms all of which with 6.5 why wait for a stock rom?

Because I don't want a fully custom ROM that someone else says "use these programs and settings." I want to be able to use my own, or change from default, and I don't have the time right now to learn how to make one myself unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, I have used custom before, and like the upgrade, but stock is much more stable and easier for me, right now.

There are plenty of barebones ROMs which are just as stable as stock, and it's not like Carrier ROMs are any better. They're filled with bloat as well. I'd say they're some of the worse offenders

This has been true in the past, but it seems that the TP2 stock ROMs are reasonably fast and clean. Also, every ROM that I have tried has had some sort of bug, be it that text messages take forever to load to the phone randomly hard resetting itself.

I feel that the carriers spend much more time testing their ROMs then our chefs.

The USC TP2 became available on 11/20 with WM 6.5 and that's when I posted this thread. Sadly, it didn't get any replies so I assumed it was an old news as well

Someone needs to get a hold on that thing!!

By the way, the back cover on USC TP2 is identical to Sprint (i.e. it has a "grill" design) but it comes with dark blue backing rather then Sprint's orange. I want to pick up one of those and swap it.

Well I am here to tell you this is a great device.
I am on US Cellular, and my wife and I each picked one up yesterday.
If someone can give me the links, and what software I need and what to do to copy the files, I would be glad to do it.
When I had the 6800/Mogul for US Cellular, I did cook some roms for it, but I think I am going to keep this one stock.

Please contact me via PM. i will send you a package, it will contain a CAB to unlock the soft security on the rom and a batch file to dump the rom 2 4 parts.
