Re: In call volume too loud...

I just received my TP2 last week, everything is too loud. The ringer even set at it's lowest is still loud. I like to place my phone on my desk and set it so I am the only one that can hear it. But this TP2, it's so loud everyone can really hear, system, ringer and in call volumes.

Bumping this thread, hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

Re: In call volume too loud...

Sorry to bring up an old thread... but has anyone figured out a solution to this problem? Is there a way to reduce the lowest setting for Incall Voice and Ringer volumes when using headphones? [-o<

Re: In call volume too loud...

I was able to solve this problem by editing the file: \Windows\AudioPara3.csv followed by a soft reset, as directed by charvellano over at xda.

F5,PHONE_HEADSET_VOL5,5,4000,4000,0,4000,61A8,FFFF ,2000...

the most important value is the sixth (in hexadecimal) which is the volume value. if you use the volume level on the left side of the phone the volume of the the headset changes according the value reported in this file. I edit these values according to my "ears" ranging between c8(volume=200) and 61A8(volume=25000), and i clearly feel the change in the volume when i use the headset (you need an hex-decimal converter, there are several online)
I did not find it necessary to edit the registry as directed in the source post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1&postcount=11

I have attached my modified AudioPara3 file that fixed my problem.

File Type: zip AudioPara3.zip (8.7 KB, 22 views) Click for barcode!

Re: In call volume too loud...

Anyone got this working yet? The latest version of android just too loud. Anyone have any way to at least low it by some? I tried the above post but with no luck.
