In call volume too loud...
 

Unlike other people in this tread I find my in call volume to loud even with the volume all the way down (I'd believe that doing this will let me without audio, but no) with any ear piece (stereo headphones, blue-tooth).
I usually listen to music or have the navigation on when driving and overoll I can manage the volume for this applications in a confortable way but never with the in call volume.
Is there any recommendation, cab or anything else that I can use to lower this volume in my Touch pro 2?

Yes! Ringer and holding phone to my ear volume are both okay. But when using an earpiece it is blaring, even with vol all the way down! It seems the volume control range is from 95%-100%, barely noticeable when turning it down.

I'd love to get a software fix for this as I'm having a tough time finding a wired stereo earpiece with mic and vol control.

YES!

I don't think the volume control actually does anything when you are in a call on your headphones. It blasts my ears out. To the person above, it is great that it can go loud, but it should also be able to go quiet.

...Same story here...this is really why i think i hear distortion/buzzing on the end of certain words in the earpiece ...lessens at the very lowest level, but still present...

with the volume , while in call, at the lowest level ...the other persons voice comes across very audible and loud and is blasting if the in-call volume is up 1 or 2 notches...anything more is just annoying.


odd that we have to opposite problem , that most use audiopara to remedy .... htc tweak / work around solution gone awry?


any suggestions or help on this would really be appreciated...

Just got my wired headset today, and holy crap, my eardrums are still ringing just from listening to my voicemail. I mean, it is BLARINGLY loud. I've also turned volume all the way down, and it didn't seem to make any difference. Very uncomfortable. There's gotta be a fix for this! Please help.

I believe this is controlled via AudioPara.csv I think there is a tool for editing it, I'm not sure though.

So are you saying it's only on a wired headset in a call?

Might help if you post what ROM you are using too.
