Re: Verizon Blocks

I had this problem on the stock rom as well. I would actually have to type the exact address for each thread I was searching. Browsing PPC site was impossible. It would go to the site and as soon as it loaded, the error report message would pop up and shut Opera down. I am now running C_Fay's 1.1 Rom and it is very close to stock and I have no problems accessing the site anymore. As for why the stock rom can't access the site... no idea.

Re: Verizon Blocks

I have had a Verizon TP 2 since the first day they became available.

I've never once had a single problem using this site with the stock ROM, Mighty's ROM & now Juicy's.

Re: Verizon Blocks

have you tried using the mobile version of the site at: m.ppcgeeks.com

It worked on my old verizon TP1, now I am on a Sprint TP2 and it also works on it.

Smile Re: Verizon Blocks

No problem here accessing the site using the default Oprah Winfrey browser that comes on the Verizon TP2, Oprah 10x beta, Intranet Exploder or Ski-Fi.

Verizon does suck, let me count the ways, but not that badly. I mean, just because some Constitutionally-challenged nuts in Washington are talking about regulating opinion on the internet, it doesn't mean we have to freak out yet. And by what nine out of 10 dentists are saying in this forum, it sounds as if it's just your TP2 being buggy (I know, that never happens). ;D

Hope it starts working again for you.

Re: Verizon Blocks

Funny, but I noticed this on the stock rom also. I never thought any thing about it till now. It's not an out of mem error and nothing pops up to indicate the issue, the browser just closes. Good thing there are other options.

I was having the same notion, until i switched to mobile mode and it stopped killing opera. Try that, maybe it will work?

Re: Verizon Blocks

I noticed this also. I just use mini instead. Funny all the other forums and sites are fine using o mobile. Is it 9.5 or all opera versions?
