Re: touch pro 2 bricked
that's what I was wondering, chronster. I'm starting to wonder if the OP flashing something for a different device. That would surely cause a problem like we're hearing.

Re: touch pro 2 bricked
I doubt a GPS fix could brick the phone. Probably just a coincidence. Phones do break normally without reason just like any other electronic device. Even if your ROM is screwed and your Phone won't boot, you should at the very least see the HTC Screen with the red writing at the bottom. It may not go past that but you should at least get that far, even if you had no rom on the phone at all.

Re: touch pro 2 bricked
There a way to safemode it through the usb, like a console connection?

Re: touch pro 2 bricked
Hm, so you don't need to do something like this? - How To: Configure GPS - PPC Geeks
I remember I had to do that for my diamond because supposedly sprint locks the GPS in order to make you use their navi software.. I haven't played around with TP2 roms yet nor have I gotten google maps on my TP2 but I thought the "use gps" won't work without the "fix"? Is that what the OP is referring to? Re: touch pro 2 bricked
I think he must have downloaded some kind of "GPS Fix" for HTC branded phones. Not AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, or Tmobile, but the unlocked international (original) version.
