yeah the hspl is unlocked... the phone isn't responding.. i tried holding down the talk/send end button and power button for like 5 mins with no response

Are you still within the 30 days to return it, if so, I would do that, or use insurance if you have it, I haven't read anything on here about any way to fix it if the phone won't even go to bootloader. Let me check around a little bit.

Hoping that someone can provide some insight. I am taking my phone to sprint tomorrow if I cannot get it fixed. I did something really stupid tonight by trying to unlock the HSPL using the wrong file for my TP2. I now have a black screen, cannot get into bootloader mode, basically can't do a damn thing. I've been loading roms for a long time and feel like such a dumba**. Any help that you can offer would be great.

yea you bricked your phone...some other guy like 2 weeks ago installed a gps fix cab and bricked his phone..and company fixed it but took like a month to fix it..that forum is floating somewhere around here..

If you successfully flashed the wrong SPL onto your Pro2 you've created a paperweight, sorry. Hope you're able to have it replaced.

I feel the same way...stupid search algorithms shows Touch Pro stuff for Touch Pro 2 and I wasn't paying attention...

Will a Sprint repair cover this? $120 or whatever for that is a lot cheaper than $350 for a new phone

well i am ashamed to admit this but i did the exact same thing as the OP said. nowhere on the page does it say GSM. it was 3in the morning and i was rushing to try to fix my GPS before i got on a plane. oh well, i will be visiting verizon tomorrow to see if they will replace it.
