Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

XDA is tracking about the same rate of problem as this forum. Would be great to get one of the chef's working on this...

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

i keep running into the same problem, whenever i try to sync a bluetooth stereo headset, handsfree connects just fine. but then stereo audio always fails w/ the connection. i've tried 2 different sony headsets, and now my brothers jabra dogtag. All of which work fine with my tilt (ttyn ii) and fuze (touch pro). If ANYONE can find a way to get the MS stack into this, and it fixes the problem....consider paypal funds on the way.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

FYI - Some of the new roms are using a new BT driver/stack that fixes most of these issues. I'm running MightyROM 11/25, and I can hang up the phone now. I'm sweeping through the list of BT Issue threads that I subscribed to and posting this for those that haven't heard about it.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

First here is my issue: My headset (Jabra BT8010) will not connect when receiving calls. Also when syncing my headset to my phone I get an error message saying that the sound is basically unsupported and I will have to adjust the volume on the headset only. I was able to partially get around the connection issue, I had to disable voice command. After disabling voice command the headset will stay connected when I answer a call using the answer button on the headset. But when I press the answer key on the phone the headset still will not connect. I hate this problem and wish HTC will fix it asap.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I have an unusual problem with Bluetooth. I pair to my Garmin Nuvi OK, but more often than not after I disconnect the call, I lose all audio on the phone. I have to soft reset it. Strange.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I'm glad I searched first. I was just going to post a thread on this.

What's the status of kitchens with updated stacks? I'd really like to see a kitchen or ROM not with a fixed Widcomm stack, but with the good ol' Microsoft stack. Are there any yet?

Just about all the current roms use the new drivers. I don't have a list, though. I know MightyRom works.

I doubt there will ever be a rom with the MS BT Stack. All chefs seem opposed to making one. I'm just glad it's fixed, one way or another, so I can use BT again.

Dodgeboy, what problems were you experiencing before flashing? The only reason why I would flash is to fix bluetooth. I have so many problems with it am not sure where to start. I have to dial someone 3 times to keep the phone from hanging up and freezing for 2 mins on my car handsfree (Parrot). I can not control the audio volume on my Sony bluetooth stereo system or on my motorola wireless speakers. When I try to hangup the phone on any bluetooth device it takes 30 seconds for it to respond to the hangup if at all. I still have not seen a definitive response of "problems fixed" for these issues.

Anyone who has flashed still having any of these problems (or others)?

I had similar issues to you. All were fixed with the newer ROM. The newer ROM is buggier than stock, but it is definitely worth it to get BT functionality back. I can't wait for the official 6.5 upgrade, so I can have a stable, stock ROM with working BT.
