Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I was wondering if there was a fix for this without flashing to a new rom. I've done a search and can't find anything. There was one post about a cab, but that cab drained the battery quickly. I have an Infiniti G37 and I cannot hang up using bluetooth, or send my phonebook. Everything else is working just fine. Thanks!

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I had been running Energy ROMs which are pretty good and had the hangup issue but I decided to give Calkulin's Kitchen a go (he also builds ROMs too).

My hangup hang over bluetooth with data active is gone

I am not running the data disconnect tweak.

See my signature for a link on how to basically use the Kitchen along with everything you need to build what I'm running.

It may not be the bluetooth stack after all causing the hangup issue with data session active.

I have no idea what fixed it, I stripped a bunch of stuff out of the custom ROM I made. Or it may be Calkulin's customizations that fixed it. A lot of odd things are fixed too. I don't know what was the specific thing that fixed, all I know is it works now. It might not solve other blue tooth issues folks are having though.

Yeah I just can't flash my phone to a new rom so I cannot make any of these changes. I'm hoping for a simple cab fix but it doesn't appear to be that easy. For now I'm hitting the end button on the phone but I would love to be able to use the phone controls on the steering wheel.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I have a 2008 BMW 535xi with Idrive and I have the same problems. It doesn't respond to hang up command and it connects correctly 60-70% of the time. I just don't understand this sh*t. I upgraded my TP1 which worked perfectly with my BMW and I get a nice new phone but the BT doesn't work right. LOL, a $20 cell phone from Target will work right, but this doesn't...

yes if someone can come up with a FIX so we dont have to flash a new rom that would be great.. ESPECIALLY one that does not drain the battery quick!

Thanks...

Similar, maybe, but not same. Reflashed to Verizon 6.5 which is what MightyRom uses. Still have the problems described with the Parrot handsfree kit which immediately disconnects calls that are dialed after the first ring - calling this the "Bart Simpson Prank Call bug"

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you

I just got my TP2 3/30/10. I had a TP1. I have been using a Buleant Z9 without ant issues on TP1. On TP2 it will not give me incoming caller name if in contacts or caller ID , it just makes a ring noise . I have ringtone off in phone so only caller ID will work. Other functions work on TP2 but not incoming calls. Anybody have a earpiece that works with incoming?
I put 6.5 on phone.
