Well I can't figure this out for the life of me.

Running MightyROM 12.30.09 with WinMo 6.5 and Sense 2.1. I have my HDWalls configured for both. Yet when creating the images I want, the taskbar and softkeys are see-thru in the HDWalls UI on my laptop. But when I create the cab, they're all black (see attached image).

I've read the entire thread for a solution. Earlier it was mentioned to ensure that the transparency sliders in HDWalls were all the way to the left to create this see-thru look. Well I did that and still got bupkis.

Anyone know how to fix this? I know it's possible because I have used wallpaper cabs created via HDWalls by other users and the taskbar et. al. is see-thru on theirs, just not mine

Are you sure that you are going into Advanced settings in the Configuration Page? Then checking the box to allow 6.5 taskbar skinning?

Yes. I've attached a screenshot below to verify my settings. I am on Mighty's WM 6.5 Sense 2.1 ROM, so I'm pretty sure my profile is correct as well

I know that it works on this ROM, though, since I've used HDWall cabs created by others on my phone and they work just fine. I'm obviously missing something basic... I just can't figure it out

Try selecting the HTC Sense and HTC Sense Patch boxes and try again. I have made ones that work on that rom as well.

Weird. When I did what you said, the opposite just occured. The taskbar and softkeys are skinned properly, but now the main screen just shows the standard black animated weather default background image...

Funny thing is the file is 1077 KB so I know the background has to be there somewhere...

Yeah, now just go to set the wallpaper, and choose weather wallpaper, select one. Maybe soft reset. Should show up!

I think weather wallpaper is only a choice in Sense 2.5. Since I'm on 2.1 when I go to the settings -> wallpaper it normally asks if I want to set the default wallpaper (which enables the weather animations). But I already had that set. I went into the wallpaper settings anyway to make sure the default was selected (it was) then I tried to change it back to another wallpaper (un-enabling the default wallpaper). Still didn't work. Soft reset. Then I went back into wallpaper settings and set the default wallpaper again. Soft reset again. Still didn't work.

The files I've used on this ROM that have worked have been around ~900 KB, yet this most recent one is over 1,000 so I'm thinking something is off

Attached are all the windows in the HDWall program. Let me know if you see something wrong with any of my settings (the config screen is attached to my other post)
