background pic when you hit start

im running stock sprint rom. im trying to get a background picture when i hit the start button and the start menu screen pops .... ive seen it done b4. can any one help.

start/settings/today/appearance - check the box "Use this picture as the background" and browse for the picture you want to use.

Edit: Im not sure if will work with the touch flo start menu enabled. I have mine disabled and it does work.

I tried turning touchflo off actualy tried it both ways and it does not work for me??? What I am after is the Start
page where it has the 3 columns of apps.

na, that only worked for screen b4 tf3d starts. im talking bout the screen that pops up when tf3d is on and u hit the start button !!

the instructions everyone gave you only applies to winmo 6.5, the sprint stock rom is only winmo 6.1

What does santod mean in his post or reply to me? I to am running 6.1 stock rom with verizon though.

I think this method of changing the START menu background only works on WinMo 6.5, as the Start menu is a bit different on WinMo 6.1.
