background pic when you hit start

Did you get yours to work? Doing this doesnt work for me?????
start/settings/today/appearance - check the box "Use this picture as the background" and browse for the picture you want to use.
I tried turning touchflo off actualy tried it both ways and it does not work for me??? What I am after is the Start
page where it has the 3 columns of apps.
