Re: Best way to add city to weather

Thanks. I've been searching for this. I wish things like this were included or linked in the "Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications thread."

Here's a link to his thread. It works great on stock ROM but I found it a little laggy on MM. I manually update my own cities and it's works like a charm. Keep a copy of the manila file on your storage card saved as not read only and even after a HR it's simple to add your towns.

Re: Best way to add city to weather

I think I'm having trouble trying to get .net framework 3.5. I just got my telus tp2, coming from a tp1. I've tried downloading the .net from the tweaks thread, also right microsoft website. maybe it is installed. how do I know? trouble is that I've downloaded the Weather data base editor at the start of this thread, when I try to run it, it still says I need a newer .net. I can't get the conflipper app to do anything, I downloaded it to my program computer, then copied it to program files, I tap, it says it installs & restarts my tp2, but then I can't find it in programs to open it & none of my cities are changed. all is want is Grande Prairie AB Canada to show. help please. somebody? thanks.

Agreed. This cab worked just fine on a stock Verizon TP2. Yes, it takes a bit of time for the weather app to download location data, but it is worlds better than the limited stock weather database.
