You can't help but be reminded that the TP2 does NOT have a processor upgrade from our original TPs. The weather animations are sluggish and slow...it really is too bad...because that bit of eye candy is something to behold!

Lots of 6.5.1 ROM chefs are still on the TP...ran 6.5.1 using Calkulin's VK...and at that time...it was an adventure since it was VERY beta then...now, on NRGZ ROM, 6.5.1 is exactly what the current 6.5 should have been...with room to grow...but MORE finger friendly.

YES, I would like to see more 6.5.1 ROM's for the TP2...and I think its a matter of time before other chefs migrate over here, with their 6.5.1 tools.
those issues you bring up are with manila 2.5, not 6.5.1... if you try photon, those particular issues you have will be non-existant

Re: Would you be interested in a 6.5.1 Rom?

Running NRG's WM6.5.1 (23081) with Manila 2.1, posted/updated yesterday (11/3)

Seems stable and really fast to me, not sure why more people aren't using it who want WM6.5.1. In fact it's one of the fastest ROMs I've used, even compared to MightyMikes and CFay's, which are both excellent but more traditional WM6.5 builds.

I think Manila 2.5/Leo is much more unstable/beta than the latest WM6.5.1 builds.

lol, yeah I think I'll update his thread titles as you can't tell from his posts, only by hitting his download links :-/

I tried his earlier WM6.5.1 build and t'was slow. This one I'm truly astonished at--after doing some Mem tweaks (HD Tweaks/MemMaid), it has to be one of the fastest ROMs I have used, no joke.

Re: Would you be interested in a 6.5.1 Rom?

6.5.1 question: How do I get it so the X doesn't close the app but puts it in the background? There was a setting in 6.1 and 6.5 but I can't find it anywhere in 6.5.1. I know how to get to Showcase, but there is never anything there, because I have to close one app to run another.

Re: Would you be interested in a 6.5.1 Rom?

i would definitely be interested in a 6.5.1 rom but nrg has fit the bill. His rom is smooth and i am fortunate to have downloaded the 6.5.1 titanium only rom before he took it down. To be honest Calkulin is my favorite chef and he has just received a tp2, he will start creating roms and kitchens soon.

Re: Would you be interested in a 6.5.1 Rom?

To be honest I'm not a fan of the buttons on the bottom because you still have a bar on the top therefore you lose some screen real estate it seems. Also the buttons don't look that good in my personal opinion.

You figure you only lose that real estate, if ANY, in titanium or touchflo/sense home. Anytime you open a program, web browser etc, you are still getting your full screen.
