edit:I have attached the non-compressed images as well so you can compare them in their true resolution.

one i just took right now. Zoomed in with the ISO at 100 like someone said to do with brightness at -1. These settings look realllly bad.

Heres one with default settings on everything and not zoomed in.

For me ISO 200 and brightness at the + side .5 ,1.0. Also looks like your lens is dirty. Make sure that battery cover inside and out plus the lens it self it clean. But i don't believe it would help much but look clearer with that low light you got.

Yeah... Looks terrible especially all those CDs and Asus boxes on your dresser, tidy up a bit. lol.
No... Really though. I have only taken photos that bad outside facing the sun. Are you directly under your light source? Do ALL your shots look that bad? I don't have that problem. I don't see why anyone should. I took better pictures with my son's spiderman camera. I know it doesn't help any. But at least you know it shouldn't be that way.

If you look closely his light is coming from the right side and dark on the left. When this happens the sensor gets confuse especially if set to auto. This thing loves light and it was made that way to compensate for no flash.
